A little bit about me
I have been quilting for over 30 years, and began longarming in 2023. Bold colors and fabrics draw my attention and I'm always learning new piecing techniques. I tend to like more modern fabrics and colors, but I enjoy both modern and traditional patterns. After retiring from a long career in IT program management I bought my first longarm and began working on quilts for other people using paper pantographs. Eventually, I took some some classes and invested in a larger machine and frame that I call my quilting robot. So far, I've completed over 20 edge-to-edge quilts.

My longarm is a HandiQuilter Amara 24 with ProStitcher on a 10 foot frame. I can quilt anything up to about 90 inches on the shortest side. I've gotten skilled at computerized edge-to-edge designs and have done several custom computerized designs (different quilting designs on specific areas of a quilt), but I don't feel like I'm ready to hang out my shingle for that just yet. Let me know if you want to be an early adopter!

I work from my home and do a lot of my work through mail order. I can also meet you for pick up and delivery if you are in the Portland metro area.
